Crocheting with Love

I have been crocheting in anticipation of the arrival of my first grandchild. As soon as I learned we were expecting a girl I started perusing the patterns on Ravelry and buying pink and peach yarn.
Christina Elizabeth arrived February 27, 2015 wide eyed and healthy!

I am most proud of my first Corner to Corner blanket. This C2C was made with Serenity Baby and Caron Simply Soft yarns.

I also made a cuddly baby blanket w Bernat Blanket yarn. Though quick it took 5 skeins for the body and borders. But it is so luscious and feels like chenille.

This little hat was from a pattern found on Ravelry. I will add the source later.
